Complaints
Download Grievance Complaint Form
- All complaints should be directed to the appropriate street director, or the President in the event of a vacant area
- The initial response should prove or disprove the complaint
- Identify the applicable DOR and violation
- Obtain a completed complaint form from the concerned resident
- Make an attempt to contact the occupant of the offending property and attempt resolution(sometimes a phone call is all that is needed)
- Notify the Chair of the DOR committee of the complaint, include the area and unit of the property in question
- Turn the matter over to the Chair of the DOR committee along with the information necessary to send out a violation letter and or recommend legal action to the board
- The chair will provide progress/resolution updates at the monthly meeting
- Retain a copy of complaint form for Town and River records, along with copies of any substantial communication
- Separate unresolved complaints from resolved
- Resolved complaints will be turned over to the President at the annual meeting to go into Association storage
