On March 12, 2025 we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the Town & River Cruise Club. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Three boats travelled the short distance to Three Fishermen Seafood Restaurant in North Ft. Myers.
Our group for 23 were seated outside at a long table where we could enjoy the scenic views of the Caloosahatchee River. The table was adorned with lots of green decorations, some of which have been in use since 1992!
As per our tradition, we held a 50/50 raffle. Marge Byrne was the lucky winner and went home with an extra $42. In addition, we drew two more tickets for two bottles of wine. They will be enjoyed by Laura McCormick and Gayle Sawyer.
Don Sena asked for a volunteer to take over the position of Auditor from Mike DiBenedetto for the coming year. Ellen Marra will be our new Auditor and Mike will be replacing Debbie Haptonstall as our new Commodore. Thank you, Deb, for your years of service to the club. Cecilia Bourdon will continue as our Treasurer and Liz DiBenedetto is our photographer.
It is always a great time getting together with this wonderful group of people. We are hoping to see all of you again on April 12, 2025 at the W.P. Franklin Lock & Dam.
