The Town & River Cruise Club had our monthly luncheon on March 11th to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
Two boats carried 10 of our guests to The Three Fishermen Restaurant in North Ft Myers. The seas provided us with smooth sailing and the company was lively and talkative!! The other 6 guests chose to drive to the location.
We were not disappointed with the variety of luncheon choices and many of us enjoyed their specialty cocktails.
The new tradition is to have a 50/50 raffle and all the money collected is split between 2 winners. Our first lucky winner was Adrienne Bebe who walked away with the first $40. Sue Sena followed her winning the second $40!!
Another new practice is that we raffle off 4 additional gifts as a bonus. Sue & Adrienne certainly had the Luck of the Irish with them because they both won another prize each!
Mike Marra claims he had the next winning ticket but it was contested by Ellen because he was also holding her tickets!! Mike won that battle and chose the large bag of Chocolate (Ellen would have chosen the Wine!!!)
Our last prize winner was Ed Bourdon, who walked away with (Ellen’s ) wine!
Great company, good food, lots of laughs resulted in a wonderful day!
Our next luncheon will be held on April 11th at The Franklin Locks. Hope to see you all there!!
